Meet your facilitator, An Nguyễn
An was born in Đòng Nai province in Việt Nam and studied and worked in Hồ Chi Minh City (Sài Gòn). She has taught Vietnamese at the Vietnam Heritage Center since 2014, and continues to be inspired by students' dedication to learning her native language. She hopes to provide further insight not just into Vietnamese as a language, but Vietnam as a culture, much in the same way her former English teachers taught her.
Each week focuses on suggested topics of conversation that may change depending on attendees. The format of each session is open-ended and discussion-based.
There are no assessments, assignments or class materials associated with the Conversation Sessions. Attendees may choose to bring their own note-taking materials if they so desire.
