Sample VHC Update 3

The Vietnam Heritage Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting the rich history and traditions of Vietnam. Founded in 2013 and based in New York City, VHC offers Vietnamese classes to the local community and hosts annual events to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival and Lunar New Year. In 2014, VHC was formally recognized by New York State Senator Marty Golden in Brooklyn for its contribution to the community, and in 2016, VHC was given a Commendation by New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer.

VHC is currently undergoing a big rebranding effort which includes building a blog to share and showcase Vietnamese culture - from its food to its unique traditions, language, history, destinations, and more. VHC does not seek to become the next news source on Vietnamese current issues, but rather a thought leader and expert on culture and history. As such, VHC is looking for contributing writers to build this blog from the ground up.
